1) How did you become interested in math or science field while at high school?
My math teacher and science teacher always made class fun and explained stuff
really well. They always made it so I understood it.
2) Why did you choose to work in your field? Chemistry is soo exciting!!!
3) What are some areas of your job that you like the most? I love experiments
and understanding how life works and especially the human body, its so
fascinating!
4) What one thing would you tell a middle or high school girl who is considering
majoring in STEM in college? Go for it, its hard work but anything worth having
is. Chemistry and Biology are the BEST majors on any campus. You will have fun
and be amazed at the same time.
5) Please provide a short
biography and a photo. My name is Asia Muhammad and I am a junior at MTSU. I am
a double major; chemistry and biology and maybe biochemistry! I can not help it.
I love science!!! After my undergrad, medical school is
next. I plan to be a surgeon but Im not sure what type yet.
