Following the Awards
Presentation Ceremony (4:15 - 5:00 p.m.) and the Reception (5:00 - 7:00
p.m.) the Adult Learners Commission will go to Tucker's Marketplace for
our traditional networking dinner. At least one of our Commission
members will receive an award this year. So plan to attend the ceremony
and reception to support her.
We are going to Tucker's
Marketplace for a buffet dinner that features a wide array of dinner
entrees. On Saturday evening they serve a huge buffet with over 140
items. They always have roast beef and a featured meat ( pork, chicken
etc.) plus pastas, stir-fries (made to order), salads, desserts and so
on. There are items for those with food allergies and for strict
vegetarians. So there will be something for everyone.
Plus, it's
only $15.95! That's a great value. As always, if you are with
colleagues or family members, please invite them to come along with you
to this event. Our friendly Commission members will welcome them too.
Meet in the Westin
lobby at 8:00 p.m. and we'll walk over to the market area or if you
are already out and about, you could meet us at Tucker's at 8:15 p.m.
