Learners Commission Meeting

Commission chair, Carol Ann Baily will update
our commission activities and business, go over the volunteer
opportunities, and discuss adult learner issues and general networking.
This will be a good opportunity to bring ideas stimulated by the earlier
sessions and to give feedback and suggestions of activities and topics
for the commission to pursue in the coming year. This is a time for
advisors of adult students to meet each other, network, and discuss
topics of common interest.
The new Commission Chair, Kenn Skorupa, who
begins his term at the end of the meeting, will be introduced.
Since our Commission transacts the majority of its
business electronically now, we will be using our Commission meeting
time to talk together about the needs of our adult learners and how we
can meet those needs in our work. Please bring colleagues who may work
with an adult population and not belong to our commission. Also, be
prepared to ask questions and to share your successes, your ideas,
newsletters, and other resources about advising adult learners. Here's
how you can get involved! We encourage you to attend.
