PROPOSALS FOR PRESENTATIONS
You are encouraged to submit proposals for your regional conference and
for the national conference each year. We always want to be sure that
there are plenty of presentations at these events that focus on the needs
of adult learners and how we can better serve them.
Check out the web site at: http://www.nacada.ksu.edu/
for the electronic submission form and all the details each year. There is
even a "Hints
for Effective Presentations" page that could be helpful to you. I
encourage you to submit proposals for roundtables, concurrent sessions,
and poster sessions about adult learning and about advising adult learners
from your particular point of view.
A team of our commission members will review the anonymous proposals
through special access to the web site. We evaluate those proposals
from the adult learning perspective and submit our recommendations to the
conference planning committee for those to be listed as "Sponsored by
the Adult Learners Commission". If you wish to volunteer to
serve on this committee for next year, contact cabaily@mtsu.edu
