The Middle Tennessee Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers is proud to offer the Tennessee Energy and Environment Spring Study for 2001. The energy management industry in Middle Tennessee is an association of many individuals and businesses that typically deal with a wide variety of facility and utility issues. Energy management may only be a portion of their responsibility. As a facility owner, facility manager, design professional, equipment supplier, energy service provider, utility provider, or budget conscious consumer, practically everyone is involved, directly or indirectly, with energy management, or the lack thereof. Each have different motivators for performing energy efficiency activities depending on which side of the meter they’re on (supply-side or the demand-side), what their business goals and objectives are, and in what condition their assets (facilities) and resources (funding options) are. Regardless of position and motivation, if you are interested in energy efficiency and facilities performance, this Spring Study should be for you. Our goal is to create a comprehensive learning environment that goes beyond basic energy awareness. The educational opportunities include interacting with knowledgeable instructors and presenters in classroom sessions, sharing experiences and lessons learned with business contemporaries in peer group exchange sessions, and a variety of individual information exchange sessions with design professionals and equipment manufacturers from various energy arenas. We hope this mix of people and program elements will provide each participant a better learning experience than the typical conference. |
