In the master classrooms, KOM 120, KOM 159, KOM161, PH314B and AMG 213 modern technology is available for the instructor's use. An instructor's station houses a Macintosh Power PC computer loaded with productivity, presentation, authoring, and communications software. It is connected to the campus network and the internet. An equipment rack houses a videocassette recorder and audio receiver. A visual presenter displays documents, transparencies, and 3-D objects. A ceiling-mounted multiscan video/data projector displays the computer, visual presenter, and VCR images on a projection screen mounted at the front of the room. A tv/video monitor also displays the visual presenter and VCR images. Finally, an AMX remote control controls the A/V equipment, projection screen, and room lighting. KOM 161 not only has a teacher workstation but also individual student Macintosh Power PCs at each seat.
