Showcase Series
Professional
Growth, Enriched Perspectives
The Showcase Series features all-day seminars led by
nationally recognized scholars in the teaching and learning
community. Often hosted in conjunction with various faculty development committees on campus--such as the
Experiential Learning Program(EXL), STEM, and International
Studies--these showcases are conceived with professional growth
issues in mind. In addition, they help the Center form the
kind of strategic partnerships--both on campus and throughout the
global teaching and learning community--that can provide our faculty
with enriched perspectives about teaching and our university with a
worldwide profile among educators.
Each year, staff and associates of the
Center plan two showcases, one for fall and spring semesters. Upon
request, we can provide certificates of attendance to include in
your portfolio.
We welcome suggestions and ask that you
contact the directors
with ideas for events.
