LTITC Events Calendar
Every year we get better at this! The
events we've planned for 2008-09 promise to be the best we've ever
offered. First Tuesdays this fall will focus on new
environments for learning, discussing such topics as hybrid, or
blended, courses, second life, and the use of games and scenarios in
the curriculum. Our Teaching Excellence series will take up
some intriguing topics of interest to any faculty wanting practical
advice on how to be a
good teacher in the 21st century.
Help us, help
you!
We invite your
suggestions! We serve you, the academic community, and
we need to know what kind of workshop would interest you.
Do you have expertise that could help others
among your colleagues at MTSU? Please consider presenting or
making yourself available to chat confidentially with peers seeking
advice. Help us make your Center work!
New! Questions
in Advance!
The formula for a successful event must
include all participants. Those of you who have presented for
us realize the challenge in preparing information that will be of
interest to such a diverse faculty who teach in different types of
learning environments. Help our presenters by submitting
questions in advance to give them an idea of your needs and
expectations.
All events are "brown bag" unless otherwise noted.
