UNDER
CONSTRUCTION!
Our website is being redesigned this
summer. Call us at 494-7671 if you need information. Thanks.
The
Learning, Teaching, and Innovative Technologies Center (LTITC) was established in
2004, a joint partnership between the departments of Information Technology
and Academic Affairs. Since its inception, LTITC has
committed itself to fulfilling
a mandate common to all such centers, that of--
addressing
the needs and interests of the entire academic community in support of the
education of students.
Here,
faculty can find workshops, mentors, and
on-campus (and off) specialists
to serve almost any aspect of their professional life--
expanding
classroom skills
learning about e-games
finding a
mentor
A diverse and
ample array of
resources are offered on this site
and regularly updated to ensure that
the way of an
MTSU teacher is well
seeded with opportunities for growth.
The Center (LTITC) functions
as a faculty-driven initiative that relies on collaborative and collegial
practices to nurture professional
development. It
is hoped that faculty
will gather at the Center
to share their
expertise with effective and
innovative pedagogies, technologies,
and developmental tools, forging,
in the process, bonds with others in the
academic community
who might not otherwise recognize their common interests.
