This concentration is designed to give a detailed background
of water sources in the environment and the nature of human impact on
them. Students develop a working knowledge of chemical, physical, and
biological characteristics of surface and subsurface waters and are trained in
major sampling methods. This concentration is highly compatible with the
Waste Management, Site Analysis, and Energy Resources Management concentrations.
