About Us

Humans in Crisis International Corporation (HICIC) is a humane organization dedicated to assisting third world communities affected by HIV/AIDS across the globe.  HICIC is a nonprofit, nongovernmental, non-sectarian organization seeking donations, all donations to HICIC will be fully tax-deductible.

Our Mission

HICIC brings innovative and sustainable self-help preventive solutions to the fight against HIV/AIDS. Together with third-world partners, we equip communities with education, training and outreach resources they need to empower their residents in the basics of water, sanitation, hygiene and HIV/AIDS prevention.

Our Objectives

Established in 2003, HICIC is committed to the following objectives: To help reduce HIV/AIDS in third world countries through community based education and outreach programs; To train community leaders and peer educators to empower and educate community residents in the basics of water, sanitation, hygiene and HIV/AIDS prevention; To create linkages with organizations in third world countries that are committed to educate communities in HIV/AIDS prevention and disseminate health education and information  through cultural media communications; To secure financial support to make the organization a viable entity by writing grants and contracts, establishing cooperative agreements and submitting unsolicited proposals, and attracting additional support through donations and contributions from individuals.
