Alumni of Our Program
Our graduates have a strong track record of finding quality jobs. In fact, over the past several years our placement rate has typically been 100%. Many choose a position in a human resources department, and typically they rise to high levels. Those jobs have covered a wide range of "I" and "O" oriented positions in HR. Some graduates work in organizational consulting. A few others have used the degree they earned here to help launch further graduate study (e.g., continued on to a Ph.D. program). We offer a Master's program that prepares you for any of these options. Students who completed the program have gone on to an impressive range of careers. Some of their job titles have included: Corporate Human Resources Director, Senior Consultant of Human Resources and Organizational Development, Vice President of International Services, HR Generalist, Compensation Analyst, Director of Overseas Operations, Director of Training, and Research Analyst. That's just a brief partial list of the many jobs they have found. They have successfully found jobs throughout the United States and internationally. The list of organizations they work for is wide-ranging as well. Some prefer to work in a large company and have earned quality positions in places like Microsoft, Bridgestone/Firestone, American Healthways, U.S. Postal Service, Hogan Assessment Systems, WorldCom, Dell Computers, DTS America, Towers Perrin Consulting, and BellSouth. Other alumni have preferred to work for smaller companies, oftentimes as head of human resources. You don't just have to take our word that we have a solid I/O program that will prepare you for your future. Take a look at what our some of our alumni have to say about their experience at MTSU and what they are doing now.
