The results from the 1998 survey of MTSU faculty show the information generated from frequency test.  The frequencies are listed on the questionnaire.  Over 35% of full-time faculty completed and returned the questionnaire. In 2000, MTSU faculty were again surveyed about their perceptions of instructional technology.  The original questionnaire was revised to reflect newer applications of instructional technology (i.e. more web-based applications) and administered using the same methodology.  Twenty-three percent of full-time faculty completed and returned the survey. The results from the 2000 survey of MTSU faculty show the information generated from frequency test.

Approximately 8% of MTSU undergraduate students participated in the 1999 instructional technology study.  The results of the study show frequencies of responses on the questionnaire. In 2000, MTSU students were again surveyed about their perceptions of instructional technology.  The original questionnaire was revised to reflect newer applications of instructional technology (i.e. more web-based applications) and administered using the same methodology.  Eight  percent of the student body completed and returned the survey.  The results of this  study show frequencies of responses on the questionnaire

The survey results of each study lead us to several major findings. These findings help MTSU faculty and administrators better understand the state of instructional technology on campus and to identify the resources needed to ensure its future. Major findings are detailed in conference papers and slide show presentations.
