specialty to prepare students for a wide spectrum of professions.
The department also offers numerous opportunities in experiential
and service learning. Career opportunities in human sciences
include positions in social agencies, government agencies, community
services, business, industry, health services, research
laboratories, design, merchandising, teaching, and day care.
Programs leading to the Bachelor of Science degree
are offered in five majors: Family and Consumer Studies with

appropriate program of study. The department also offers
