Welcome to the home page for MC 6000, The Science of Communication, a graduate course taught by Ken Blake, Ph.D., at Middle Tennessee State University. 

The course covers major quantitative and qualitative research dealing with the uses and effects of mass communication. The perspective of the course is international and intercultural, covering major communication theories from a diversity of cultural perspective and national experiences. Prominent American, Canadian, Asian, and European theorists of both genders are discussed in comparative perspective. Three credits.
