Mary Enderson earned her B.S. and M.S. degrees at Old Dominion University and her Ph.D. at the University of Georgia.  Prior to her appointment at MTSU (1999), she was a faculty member at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  Dr. Enderson’s primary research interests focus on the teaching and learning of mathematics and the preparation of mathematics teachers.  She is active in her discipline presenting at local, regional, national, and international conferences, as well as publishing her work in professional mathematics education and technology education journals and books.  Dr. Enderson was a 2002 recipient of MTSU’s Outstanding Achievement in Instructional Technology Award for innovation in using technology in her classroom instruction.  She has actively served the university by membership on numerous committees and working with the Ronald E. McNair Scholars Program.
