Jan 19 Introduction to the course; syllabus overview and D2L orientation
Print out syllabus and schedule for next class
Jan 21 General introduction to the differences among the disciplines, read pp. 1-7, and the various style sheets, read pp. 534-546
Visit websites for each style sheet
Discuss Style Sheet Project, set up  project groups
Week 2  
Jan 24 Commit to assignment schedule for essays and to Style Sheet Project
Set up peer groups of 3 students for feedback on essays
Individual homepages due by midnight Tuesday, 1/25
Jan 26 Introduce Library Tutorials; complete quizzes by 2/9 for HW credit
Begin work on the Style Sheet Project in class
Jan 28 Continue work on Style Sheet Project in class

Feb 25 Workshop on draft 1, setting up scientific paper format, and completing as many of the sections as possible
