Normal Breath Sounds
The correct sequence of auscultation of the anterior chest
is shown in the picture below. The sequence is from the apex to the base
of the lungs moving from side to side.

sound. The vesicular breath sound is a low-pitched, soft intensity sound
which has a
longer inspiration than expiration (I>E).
