National Center for Statistics Kids Page.  There are fun activities for youth to use the computer to Create Graphs and Roll Dice (What are your chances)http://nces.ed.gov/nceskids/

Kid's Page of FEDSTATS.   Though not all are related to statistics, there are some interesting resources from a variety of government agencies for children (and their parents) on "Kid's Pages."  http://www.fedstats.gov/kids.html 

 


 

Data Sets
Data and Story Library.  An excellent source for small data sets. The library may be searched for specific statistical methods (e.g. boxplots, regression) or for data concerning a specific field of interest (e.g. health, environment, sports).  http://lib.stat.cmu.edu/DASL/

FEDSTATS.   "The gateway to statistics from over 100 U.S. Federal agencies"  http://www.fedstats.gov/  Though not all are related to statistics, there are some interesting resources from a variety of government agencies for children (and their parents) on "Kid's Pages."  http://www.fedstats.gov/kids.html 

Federal Census Records.  The US Census can provide a wealth of data.  http://www.census.gov

The National Center of Education Statistics.  Teachers might be interested in some of this information.  http://nces.ed.gov/
