Internet for the Recording Industry

the course of your future

We will be learning to create a Website and learning to promote websites and music products on the Internet.  This is an applied class and we will spend a lot of time on the computer.  This is not strictly a lecture-based class.  Therefore, you need to buy the textbook and read it.  We will cover some of the textbook material in class, but you will be responsible for knowing all the textbook material (and material on handouts) for the exams.

Don’t panic if you don’t know HTML language.  If you do know it, help others in the class.  We will learn to create websites without having to know much of the language and you will learn what you need to know.  But it is useful to understand how it works, so we’ll do the basics.  There are tutorials online to help you.
