A Language WebQuest

A Third Grade Learning Experience

Students,

This WebQuest is set up for you to have an enjoyable learning experience.  Upon completion of all assignments, you should be able to accomplish six of Tennessee's Language Arts Standards:

  • select the simple subject and predicate of a sentence. (3.3spi2)

  • recognize correct capitalization and end punctuation within context.  (3.3spi3)

  • identify correctly (or incorrectly) spelled words in context.  (3.3spi8)

  • rearrange and identify words in alphabetical order.  (3.3spi9)

  • recognize usage errors occurring within context.  (3.3spi10)

  • select the compound sentence that correctly combines two simple sentences.  (3.3spi11)

 

 

 

 

This WebQuest contains five different links.  Each link incorporates one or more of the different standards we are trying to accomplish..  Each student should access each link and work through each activity, lesson, or game.  Each activity has specific instructions, either provided on this page or on the internet link. 

 

Write a paragraph explaining what you have learned  from these online activities.  Be sure that you use your subjects and predicates, capitalization and punctuation, spelling, and sentence structure correctly.
