- The Degree Plan should list all of the GRADUATE courses
that you have taken to obtain the degree, even if you have not yet taken the
courses. It should not list any undergraduate courses. This information is in
the Graduate Catalog. Transferred courses from other institutions are listed
on the form. Forms available from Grad Office and online.
- The courses you list on the left side will be checked against
transcripts--all courses listed must be on your graduate transcripts!
- If you are transferring courses in from another university, those
courses are listed on the RIGHT side. The MTSU course
that is being replaced is listed on the LEFT side.
- Edit the form to match your situation. Do not print and make scratch-outs!
This is a part of your permanent file so it should be professional in
appearance. If seeking initial certification, do not include your
undergraduate coursework. There should be 33 credits listed unless you are
receiving a second Masters degree from MTSU or taking LS 6511.
Substitution courses should be listed on the Degree Plan [or on
a Course Substitution Form if you have already filed an Advancement form].
Make sure you use the correct form (not the one from the Admissions Office).
Take FOED 6610 as early as you can, because it fills up fast. All
students in Ed Leadership have to take this.
