| Applicants without teaching credentials are required to complete an additional 9 credit hours of education coursework which will enable them to attain the competencies specified in the Department of Education’s Professional Core. (FOED 1110, SPSE 6430, SPED 3010) |
| These students must also pass the Praxis II Principles of Learning and Teaching. |
There are two admissions if you are seeking the degree
If you are seeking an initial certification, there will be a third admission process to the Teacher Education program. Teacher Ed requires an ACT, SAT, GRE, or PPST score for admission. Call them for acceptable scores. 615.898.5573
