Tennessee Teachers Hall of Fame - Nomination Form
Educators who have retired or are in their last year of service to public or private K-12 education are eligible for nomination to the Tennessee Teachers Hall of Fame. Nominations should be based on lifelong contributions as a classroom teacher which have made a significant difference to students and to the profession, rather than a single outstanding act or event. Career-long contributions may take a variety of forms, including but not limited to excellence in teaching, community service, and service to the profession.
Procedure:
Complete this form and attach it to (1) a summary of career employment and contributions, and (2) up to six letters of support from current and former students, parents of students, colleagues, employers, and any others who have firsthand knowledge of the nominee.
The total packet must not exceed 16 pages. All materials must be typewritten. Materials that do not adhere to the procedure will not be considered.
Filing Date:
Entries will be accepted annually, but no later than the first Tuesday in February.
